Philanthropy
that creates generational
impact

Philanthropy focused on sustainable development and self-sufficiency projects in Israel and Africa.

The Kirsh Foundation supports programs that protect, uplift, and empower communities across southern Africa, Israel, and the Jewish world.

The Kirsh Foundation identifies and invites organisations to partner with us and does not accept unsolicited proposals or funding requests.

About the
Foundation

The Kirsh Foundation was established to advance the philanthropic vision of Natie and Frances Kirsh, inspired by the maxim: “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” The Foundation’s work honours that enduring spirit of generosity.

In sub-Saharan Africa, the Foundation provides tools and opportunities for people to build better lives, focusing on access to the essential building blocks of sustainable, productive societies. In Israel, it works to ensure a safe, secure, and thriving nation for all its residents. Globally, the Foundation supports the security, vitality, and continuity of Jewish communities by promoting inclusion, resilience, and pride in Jewish identity.
